University of Northern Virginia-Prague is proud to have become a member of the Czech Green Building Council, a non-profit association
encouraging the market, educational, and legislative conditions necessary to promote high performance construction that is both
sustainable and profitable. The general priorities of the council include, i.a.:
- the effort to make green buildings a standard in Czech Republic
- providing an independent public platform for major organizations engaged in sustainable construction and green architecture
- managing market transformation through education and promotion of the sustainable construction industry
- collaboration with the other national and international organizations focused on sustainable development
- support the issuing of certificates for green buildings in Czech Republic
UNVA-Prague is pleased to now cooperate with the Czech Green Building Council as its member.
